THE ORIGAMI FAMILY / Limited Edition for HAY
The Origami Family was born from an experimentation in a technique from China. Mette Hay spotted a small paper object in a NYC taxi, made by the drivers daughter. She wondered what I could do with this craft as I love folding paper. I first began making bowls and plates but during the process a figurine showed up which soon became a colourful family of 16 members, and most likely more to come.
This limited edition of 200 pieces is exclusively for sale at HAY House during 3 days of Design in Copenhagen 16–18 September (2021)
